Short Film Talk - Hello all
Hi !!
Let me first begin with a BIG "Thank you" to all for your support and encouraging emails and words. I promise to bring and do some nice work like this in the future.
But the sad part is due to unavoidable circumstances, I am unable to continue with ShortFilmTalk aleast for the next few months. I sure hope to get "ShortFilmTalk" started again with all your blessings. This was a project which was very dear to me and had started it with all my sincerity but sometimes you can't fight with forces of nature.
Anyways...keep tuned...I will surely get ShortFilmTalk back....
Hi welcome to kvisualtree - Short Film Talk, Episode 2nd, 24th July 2008. Today we are going to have a new short filmmaker who will take us all on an interesting journey. His name is Rahul Shah from Gujarat, India. He has made his first film called "Live Green". This film is aboutlife and enviornment with a commendable message of keeping the world clean, green and unpolluted. I think Rahul will be a better person to tell us more about his film and his thought process, but before we bring him in the show I would like to mention that he has also made this film for a Corel Contest. His win depends on the number of views he gets for his film. I will put a link of his film in the shownotes so please go and watch it. If you like it, please recommend it to your family and friends. Hello Welcome to Kvisualtree - Short Film Talk - Podcast Interviews, Episode 1st, 22nd July 2008.
Let me first explain my reason of starting this podcast and what is “Short film talk”. “Short film talk” will be a short informal talk with fresh, experienced and talented short filmmakers. We will get them to share their experiences, their thought process and their journey of giving form to their subject, which in turn will help aspiring “short film makers” to take their first step and help them in realizing their vision. Apart from helping experienced and non experienced short filmmakers, hopefully this podcast will also get other people interested in this art form.
I believe, if somebody loves cinema and is keen on making a short film, should be able to get started and shoot the film provided he/she has a good subject. As long as a filmmaker has a decent camera which captures moving visuals and sound I don't see any reason why anyone can't make a film.This podcast is going to emphasize on this very point....How to make a film without any technical, natural and budget difficulties with quality and technique intact. If you want to make films and are sincere, focused and a have strong desire to make a film with good subjects, just go out there and start shooting irrespective of the roadblocks.
